Hello readers, today’s post is an appreciation post for the one and only, beautiful, and elegant actor, fashion icon Grace Kelly. Kelly, known for her timeless beauty and elegant style. Among her many iconic roles, her portrayal in Alfred Hitchcock’s “Rear Window” highlighted her refined fashion sense and grace.

Throughout her career, Grace Kelly’s films were renowned not only for their compelling stories but also for their exciting costume designs. From feminine cuts to fancy dresses, her wardrobe choices are an air of elegance and sophistication, captivating audiences and setting fashion trends for generations.

“Rear Window,” released in 1954, is a suspense movie directed by Alfred Hitchcock. The movie follows Jeff, a wheelchair-bound photographer played by James Stewart, who spends his time watching his neighbors from his window. Grace Kelly stars as Lisa Fremont, Jeff’s glamorous and adventurous girlfriend, whose elegant presence adds a hint of class to the film’s suspenseful environment.

In the movie, Lisa embodies beauty and charm along with her divine wardrobe choices. Costume designer Edith Head created outfits for Kelly that perfectly complemented her personal sophistication. From chic daywear to glamorous nightgowns, every outfit worn by Kelly highlighted her personal charm and impeccable fashion sense.

Here are the 5 best looks of Grace Kelly from the movie “Rear Window”
1. The Black top and White skirt

One of the most iconic outfits of the movies. Kelly in a princess look, with a black top with a deep v-neck, and a long white skirt that spills from the waist. With an accessory of a pearl necklace, a white scarf, Grace is breathtaking.

2. Green and white suite

Midi length green jacket with rounded shoulders. Underneath, she wears a white silk blouse, and a matching green midi skirt. In the accessories section – tight earrings and a pearl bracelet with gold decorations. This outfit represents the ideal woman of the 1950s.

3. The floral dress

A dress with a classic 50’s floral print. A dress that is tight at the waist and emphasizes Kelly’s figure and expands as befits the female figures of the 1950s.

4. The white nightgown

This is a particularly favorite outfit of mine. The nightgown made of white silk, has many details that create great sophistication, while presenting the peak of Grace’s beauty and femininity. The tunic is long, but reveals the upper thigh area, which is covered by a thin and delicate scarf. Grace looks elegant and princessy here.

5. The black dress

The classic black dress worn by Grace has an impressive dramatic impact. Here too, using the cut that embraces the narrow waist of Grace Kelly, in combination with a black belt, and pearl necklaces, the perfect look was created. The red lipstick seals the dramatic look in this great thriller.
